Tails for Ty and Charity
Thank you to everyone who made bookings during 2021. It was my first year starting up my business in Surrey and deciding to donate to a Charity each year.
Due to your bookings, donations and continued support we were able to make a donation of £262.24 to the National Autistic Society. Not bad for our first year. This money will go towards supporting those on the spectrum to get the help they need to lead more fulfilling lives.
I hope the Tails for Ty family will continue to grow, it has been amazing to meet you all and spend time with your lovely fluffy family members.

This Years Charity
The Charity i have chosen for this year is Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue. Rescue Remedies is based in Horley and the volunteer led organisation works tirelessly to care for and rehome dogs from all walks of life. They often work with dogs which are seen as less desirable due to breed traits or stigma. They aim to rehome every dog, no matter how long it takes.
I have done stint of volunteering with Rescue Remedies and it is very apparent that each volunteer is so passionate about the dogs they care for and walk. There are so many beautiful dogs there looking for homes, i have had to restrain myself from taking several home myself :).

In Honor of Ty
My handsome brother Tyrone is the other face behind Tails for Ty and the inspiration for the hard work i put in to provide the best pet care possible.
In February of 2019 he decided that he wanted to take on caring for all the animals in heaven instead. He was one of the kindest, most generous and gentlest people you could ever wish to meet. So whilst he does his good work up there i strive to do my best down here and honour him in all i do.
In order to do this i have decided to continue his legacy by giving back to the community by doing his favourite thing, caring for animals.
Every year a new charity will be selected to receive 5% of all bookings fees made via Tails for Ty for that period. So as our furry family continues to grow, so does our ability to help those in need.
